For Reelzies

Showreel Editing Service

A fast, effective and affordable Showreel editing service for performers.

HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?

For a full edit it is a highly competitive flat rate of just  £145, and for a 'Quick Clip' it's just £65. Sourcing your material is free of charge -  if you are having your showreel edited with FOR REELZIES.

HOW QUICKLY CAN YOU EDIT MY SHOWREEL?

It depends on a few factors, but I try to be as fast as possible without being detrimental to your work.

Once I have the footage required I can have a reel edited and on your Spotlight CV within 5 working days, subject to you being happy with the result of course.

HOW LONG SHOULD MY SHOWREEL BE?

It’s fair to say that the shorter we can make the reel the better. However it’s important that we include as much good footage of you as possible, so I tend to recommend between 2 to 4 minutes.

HOW DO I 'APPROVE' THE SHOWREEL?

I will upload a draft of the showreel to Vimeo and then send you a link – you can watch it online, and/or send it your agent for notes/approval.

If you like it then we’ll proceed, or if you (or your agent) want to change anything then we simply repeat the process as many times as we may need until everyone is happy with the final reel.

SHOULD I HAVE A MONTAGE?

No.

But it’s entirely up to you and your agent.

Personally I feel that montages are generally perceived to be a thing of the past, and that casting directors would much rather just see you ACT.

However they can be a quick and effective way of showing a variety of emotions and looks, so I am happy to be guided by you feel you want to include one.

It is worth listening to the Spotlight podcasts, available on itunes for FREE, as they give lots of useful advice on showreels and montages in particular.

I don’t have access to my footage - can you find it?

Absolutely. Just let me know what you need and i will look for it - most of the time i come up with what you need, and i love a challenge!

Also, if you have recently been on TV and can’t be bothered chase up or wait for production companies to provide you with a copy - let me find it for you.
